Briefing Merchandisers Without Slide Decks

A floor-first briefing format that turns diagrams into actions your partners can keep during rush hours.

Long presentation decks rarely survive a Monday morning reset. Merchandisers need annotated diagrams, a short photo reference, and clear owners—not forty slides of category strategy.

Our briefing days start with the three bays that drive most of the volume, then walk common drift patterns with real photos from prior waves. Participants mark their own door lists with priorities before they leave the room.

End with a single checklist: what must be true on day one, what to verify on day three, and who to call when a fixture blocks the plan. That checklist becomes the spine of the next compliance walk.

Keep language concrete. “Restore eye-level facings for SKU A” beats “improve visual equity.” Concrete asks travel better across agencies and retailer teams.

After the session, schedule the first verification walk while the reset window is still open. Briefing without follow-up measurement is just optimism.
